AMAYA SANCHEZ
Directora Creativa de Amaya Fashion for Kids
Nacida en Rafal en 1973, Amaya Sánchez, creció entre patrones y tejidos en el taller de sus padres, lo que pronto despertó su interés por el diseño y la moda.
A los 18 años, se traslada a Madrid para cursar sus estudios en el Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda.
Amaya compaginó sus estudios con la realización de pequeñas colecciones de moda para clientes exclusivos, para finalmente, en 1998, incorporarse a la empresa familiar, Amaya Fashion for Kids, como responsable de desarrollo y realización de producto. En 2021 Amaya asume el cargo de CEO de la compañía.
Amaya Sánchez was born in Rafal in 1973. She grew up between patterns and fabrics at her parents' workshop and this soon sparked her interest in design and fashion. At 18 she packed her suitcases and moved to Madrid to study at the High School of Fashion Design.
After completing her degree, her creative curiosity and passion for theatre leads her to Lon- don in 1994, where she widened her training with the completion of a Postgraduate at the prestigious University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins.
Amaya combined her studies with making small fashion collections for exclusive customers and then in 1998 she joined Amaya Fashion for Kids the family business as Development and Product Execution Manager. In 2021 Amaya assumes the position of CEO of the company.
